In November 2018, Steve Bannon, formerly a top aide to Donald Trump, visited the UK to deliver a speech at the Oxford Union.

The event was interrupted by numerous protesters, and Bannon, scheduled to board a flight that evening, informed Jeffrey Epstein in an message: "Protesters delayed speech don't think I can catch the plane we are heading to heathrow".

Epstein replied: "There. Is a gulf air that leaves at 950 with a layover in Bahrain". Bannon replied: "U r an excellent assistant".

These messages were published on Wednesday alongside more than 20,000 pages from the estate of Epstein, the late convicted sex offender.

The release by the House oversight committee contains an iMessage chat where Bannon's name is withheld. Media outlets managed to establish his involvement by matching the dates, events, and places mentioned.

For example, Epstein talks about chartering a jet from Scotland for the redacted user in the chat, and commends their "Oxford speech". Bannon participated in the News Xchange conference on November 14, and delivered the speech at the Oxford Union two days later.

Bannon, who faces no allegations of any misconduct, did not reply on the request for comment.

'I'll make sure you're well looked after'

Bannon was one of Trump's closest aides in the run up to the 2016 election and during the initial phase of his first administration, but resigned from the White House in 2017.

He has admitted he was making a documentary about Epstein before his passing and reportedly has approximately 15 hours of recordings. In a live taping of his show recently, he stated: "We're going to publish the series, the multi-part documentary, next year - early next year."

But the recently disclosed documents indicate Bannon's relationship with Epstein extended than documenting his life, with the convicted paedophile at times appearing to serve like a personal assistant.

A short time prior to the conversation in which Epstein seemed to booked a private plane for Bannon, Epstein said: "how does it feel to have the most highly paid booking agent in history ".

Bannon expressed gratitude: "U r pretty good asst", to which Epstein replied "Therapies. Excluded".

Discussing a visit to "Abu Dhabi" in another message, Epstein assured Bannon: "I will ensure you are well looked after."

UK Politics Mentioned in Messages

The published communications also show Bannon and Epstein talking about British political matters in that year.

On the day of his speech at the Oxford Union, Bannon messaged Epstein: "I became involved in the EU exit thing this morning with Farage, Boris and Rees Mogg."

Then, in what appears to be a allusion to Theresa May, the struggling UK prime minister at the time, he added: "The guys are trying to proceed. may today / tomorrow…"

Epstein advised Bannon: "I think staying as long as you can in the UK. Best-- so others see the dedication of your follow through."

Shortly after, Epstein asked: "Will Theresa may survive". Bannon replied: "I don't see how however the guys here have little courage" and noted "Boris ; Gove; Jacob Rees-Mogg; Davis - somebody has to step up".

Theresa May was eventually removed in May 2019 after withstanding two votes of no confidence in December 2018.

A spokesman for the political party informed the BBC: "Nigel Farage has never been in a meeting with Steve Bannon, Rees-Mogg and Johnson." And there is no evidence that encounter occurred.

The Congress will decide next week on whether the Department of Justice should release all its files related to its probe into Epstein, who passed away in prison in 2019.

Attention in Epstein's relationships with influential individuals was reignited this week after the release of over 20,000 pages from his archives.

A portion of those mentioned the former president, who has repeatedly denied any impropriety. The leader was a friend of Epstein's for years, but says they fell out in the 2000s, two years prior to Epstein was initially charged.
